Where is the best place to fly to in India?

I’m planning a trip to India. I plan to travel around for a month. I hear that Mumbai and Delhi can be a bit of a headache. Might go to those places but I figured they might not be the best places to start off at in India.
So where would be a good place to fly to fly to first?

India is called a ‘sub-continent’ that means there are a all the different geography you can get in a large continent. It depends on exactly what you want.
It is Beach go to GOA, If you like Forests, there are a lot in south start with Mysore Palace, There are many forests around you can trek and camp, Then visit Kerala and its back waters. If want to see Tigers – Jim Corbett National Park and North East has very dense forests.
If spiritual there are plenty, Pune -osho, Puttaparthi – sai baba, Himalayas (it will be winter now in some places)
It you want desent, camel raids go to Jaisailmer
Other cities of importance are Amritsar – golden temple, Taj Mahal etc.,
Best is buy the book Lonely Planet INDIA guide, it is very good.
