2008 Classes

The Indian River Fishing Academy is a light-tackle oriented three part class
series design to make you a better anglers.

The first class in this series teaches the proper rods, reels, lines, leaders, and knots to use. Plus cast net throwing instruction.

The second class in this series will cover how to rig a variety of popular live baits and artificial lures. This will include color selection and a variety of
presentation techniques for redfish, snook, trout, tarpon and more.

The third class in this series will cover proper boat positioning when
fishing near docks or mangrove covered shorelines, how to approach schools
of fish, site casting to individual fish, how to eliminate unproductive
water and advanced casting techniques. Some of these classes will also have
special local and regional celebrity guest to give additional insight about
the various points covered in the lessons.

Students signing up for all three classes will receive a free copy of our
Light Tackle Techniques Volume 1 DVD (a $24.95 value) and an additional $25
discount of the total price.

Class one and two cost $75 per student per class. Class three cost $150 per student. Special guests for class #3 will be announced prior to each of these classes.
